Favourite thing about her role: Seeing our advisors grow into their own roles

Mel is one of our longest serving colleagues, having joined as an advisor in 2011. In that time, Mel has risen through the ranks to the specially created position of Assistant Head of Legal Services.

She is responsible for training and managing our team of advisors, giving them the knowledge and expertise they need to help people who are in difficult situations.

Some of her favourite ways to relax outside of work are baking, reading and visiting the theatre and live music events. She loves to go walking in the countryside with her husband, daughter and sausage dog, as well as extending the adventure by getting the tent out and camping.
